Josie Gray is a Senior at Seabreeze High who has been accepted at both Embry Riddle and Florida Institute of Technology.  She carries a 4.36 GPA (3.84 unweighted) and is ranked eighth in her class.  She runs Cross Country and track in school, making  to State at FSU for both her junior  and senior years.  She likes to give each of her teammates personal inspiration notes prior to each cross country meet. Aside from being a captain for cross country and track, Josie has also held office for Venture Crew and the Seabreeze Drafting and Design Academy.

   

Darien Halliday is a senior at Flagler Palm Coast High and plans on attending Florida State University in the fall. She aspires  to be a Physical Therapist. She has a 4.5 GPA (3.66 unweighted) and is 39th in her class.  She is a varsity runner for both Cross Country and Track through high school.  Darien has been team captain for both for the past two years.  She has been active in the Student Government Association, Student Athletic Advisory Council and the National Honor Society and is also the Student School Board Representative.  She is active with Project Brain Child Tutoring where high school students tutor elementary children with learning disabilities
   

Kevin Scheiber is a senior at Father Lopez.  He is planning to attend University of Florida and major in Environmental Science.  He has a 4.49 GPA (4.0 unweighted) and is ranked fourth in his class.  Kevin is a four year letter winner in Cross Country and team captain for his junior and senior year.  He was the Student Government Treasurer his first three years of high school and National Honor Society President for his senior year. He participates in 4-H and volunteers at the Ormond Public Library as well.

   

Rylee Wagner is a senior at University High and will be attending the Honors College at University of South Florida starting this fall..  She has a 4.49 GPA (4.0 unweighted) and ranked first in her class.  She is a four year letter recipient in Track and Field and a varsity letter recipient in cross country.  She excels in distance running.  She has been a coach for three years for the Dread Heads Track and Field club for kids aged Preschool to 8th grade.  She has held several officer positions in her  school's Key Club and is also active  in Rho Kappa and her National Honor Society.  She assists with the DeBary/Port Orange Relay for Life and is a junior counselor at the BASEcamp Children's Cancer Foundation.

   

Alyssa Bayliff is a senior at Seabreeze High who will be attending St Leo University in the fall.  She has a 4.13 GPA (3.87 unweighted) and is ranked 29th in her class.  She participates in both Cross Country and Track and has lettered   in both all four years of high school.  She captained cross country her  junior and senior year as well as track during her senior year.  She has done much reading and research on running and uses her knowledge to assist her teammates with strategy at races.  She is very active in her church and is a member of the National Honor Society.  She tutors the children of a family through the Daytona Outreach Center.
